Under every gorgeous party look is a great fitting bra! Discover yours.

blog-illustration-dec-week-4-02-revIt’s the merry time of Christmas and the year end celebrations are under way. You are all set with your festive wardrobe, your favourite red lipstick and your trusty heels. But have you given a thought to your lingerie? After all, this is the time for lace and charm so why not extend it to your bras as well? Here are my tips on the right bras to wear with some of the most popular holiday fashion there is.

The Cocktail Dress – An eternal favorite of the sophisticated woman, the cocktail dress is a look that never goes out of fashion. Be it midnight black, metal hot red or the ivory blues or even dreamy pastels, the curve hugging dress spells style. And the right bra can take this classic look to a whole new dimension of flawless. If your LBD has a low neckline, opt for a demi or plunge bra to create a firm yet uplifted outline for your bust. Our Thea is not only the demi the season ordered, but is also available in the season’s red.
Going black and backless? The super supportive, backless, strapless Magik, is the ticket to never look back. Pun intended!

Retro Chic – While the LBD has its charms, you might chose to unleash the power of a full skirt and a crop silk top this holiday season. The 50’s midi skirt with a full flair and lots of volume paired with an exquisite silk crop top has been one of my favorite looks for a vintage, sophisticated vibe for a holiday social do. When it comes to lingerie, I suggest picking a seamless demi for a flattering yet comfortable look under a well fitted blouse or crop top. If you are fuller on top, a full cup bra would also work well. Our Nell and Thea will take good care of your holiday style, we promise! Match them with the lovely Nora and be retro chic, inside and out.

Lady long legs – Tights or skinny jeans paired with a slinky, sequinned top (and there can be oh so many variations of this!) is another commonly seen holiday party style. Sheer or shiny tights worn with a more conservative, dark tunic is another variation of the same look I’ve often come across. Which bra to pick for this look? It depends on the style of your top. A sheer high neck needs a strapless for no show support. A one sided or halter top may need a convertible bra. I recommend the Magik or Flexi for a seamless, confident look.

Not to forget to pair all the above bras with seamless panties for the no-show look, or lace shorties for a naughty mood. There you go, pick the right lingerie and make heads turn this holiday season while enjoying that perfectly fitted feeling inside.

Season’s greetings!
