May 2016 B about YOU

Illustration Week 02- 01Hi there!

Before we wish upon a new year, I want to wish you, on behalf of everyone at Buttercups, a most spectacular new year. A time for new hopes, renewed plans of conquering it all and most importantly, being truly happy, without conditions and expectations.

Being yourself is no easy feat and I hope we break new ground, move forward and accept ourselves for who we are. After all, it starts from “me”. So, in 2016, lets smile when we look in the mirror, vow to love ourselves just the way we are, walk tall because we own the world and be there for ourselves. All in all, B YOU and be proud of it.

As one of my favourite authors, T.S Eliot once said,

“For last year’s words belong to last year’s language
And next year’s words await another voice.
And to make an end is to make a beginning.”

Wishing you a happy new year and the most joyous of new beginnings.

I liked what I did, but “ What am I doing here” was a question my heart asked my head a zillion times. “What is it that you are looking for?” mocked, my inner voice. (more…)
